Summer, the earth stirs

(This summer the breeze rifles through the leaves of trees; its seeming impatience growing it buffets their branches. The earth stirs from its somnolence with the haste of a child suddenly free to leave his last schoolclass of the day: snatching his bag up, pens fly as he wheels round his chair. Day-dreaming is over: The Season is fast upon us.)
